Certification & Diploma

Opportunity for certification as a member of ELR

There are many advantages to being a member of ELR. For example, member companies have the opportunity to obtain certification and can graduate their electromechanical employees through our training courses. In addition, you become part of a large network of industry colleagues.

The customer can feel secure when choosing a certified company

The certification means that:

Every certified electromechanical workshop must have at least one certified electromechanical technician.

Workshop certification means that:

  • the work is carried out in accordance with our industry standards
  • there are documented work procedures
  • there is a documented test routine
a documented final inspection is carried out
  • laws and regulations regarding the work environment and external environment are followed
  • the company has good finances with at least two approved financial statements

To obtain the title of certified electromechanic, the following requirements must be met:

  • documented training in electrical safety Authorization B or ELR 1, 2 and 3
  • documented basic training in electric motor theory (ELR 1 and 2 or equivalent)
  • documented training in bearing assembly/bearing damage/lubrication technology
  • at least five years of industry experience

The diploma is valid for ten years and must then be renewed. Additional training may be requested by the board. Diplomated electromechanics have priority for future training provided by the association.
