Spring meeting in April

On April 15-16, ELR's spring meeting was held jointly with Pumpserviceföretagen and Swepump at Scandic Infra City Hotel in Upplands Väsby.

The spring meeting began with an appreciated study visit to Pumphuset in Upplands Väsby. We would like to extend a big thank you to Pumphuset for showing the operations, which provided a good insight into the technical everyday life that characterizes the work. It showed what common issues ELR has with Pumpserviceföretagen and Swepump.

The annual meeting was held on April 16 with the election of the board:

Lotta Rörick was elected as the new chair of ELR and Christer Eskilson was thanked for 4.5 years of well-executed chairmanship. We welcome Johan Westin as a new deputy on the board.

During the spring meeting, we also listened to Amalia Krantz from Nordea, who spoke with empathy about the importance of companies working with cybersecurity and how easy it is to become a victim of fraud.

The program also featured Magnus Lindström from Sinf, who spoke about new and interesting legal cases in the area of drug abuse in the workplace and what obligations the employer has, as well as Isabelle Grebäck from the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, who provided information about security of supply and what is expected of companies.

Many thanks to all participants at the spring meeting. Meeting, networking and sharing experiences together is invaluable.
